Leave a gift for the people who mean the world to you.
This will be the most treasured film your family and friends with ever see.
Honour those you hold dear, salute the unsung heroes, reflect on the loves, lucky moments, and lessons learnt. Celebrate life!
Celebrate LifeFilms are stories of lived experiences. A short film that captures the essence of your very unique self is a creative legacy preserved for future generations.
Being able to listen to you speak, and view treasured images, safeguards important history and documentation. A link to a short film is the perfect easy-to-access digital format to view and share anywhere in the world.
Note to family and friends: We encourage you to rally and support your star participant and suggest that pooling funds together is an option to share the cost of the video production.
Participants feel heard, appreciated, secure, and frequently tell stories that they might otherwise feel shy to share.
This is why it is most often a very valuable and special exchange.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
Step 1. Contact Chris to arrange a phone consultation to discuss your film and pricing.
Step 2. You choose approx. 6-10 photos that relate to your stories.
Step 3. The film day arrives. It takes a little time to set up the camera, some lighting and a lapel mic. Expect the time to fly with the filmed conversation and pack up all done within approx. 90mins.
Step 4. Chris will capture extra film around your home or in the local area. This footage sits under some of the conversation along with photos and licensed music.
Step 5. The production side is completed and you have a final review. The film can be accessed via YouTube and may be viewed as private, public or unlisted. You may also request a copy on a USB.

Why launch Celebrate Life Films?
We’ve learnt from the ‘Moving Story’ project that the process of sharing stories brings family, friends and community closer together.
The films hold immeasurable value that extends beyond the individual’s lifetime.
Being seen and heard, contributing a voice and having your stories valued improves well-being, elevates mood, and strengthens relationships and connections.
The films provide insight as to personhood and social identity, which can be particularly helpful to care management teams receiving new clients who are living with cognitive change.

You really captured the essence of Mum which so many relatives in the UK have also said. Mum was alive, animated, vibrant. I will be showing this at her funeral when she passes.
I have this short film to spend time with my Dad again. Continue to do this work and help families as you have changed my life forever in giving me such a wonderful gift.
Our family is very thankful to have such a meaningful memory to pass on to our children and future generations.
He is totally at ease talking to you, Chris. I also know a family whose member passed away days after you made his film and they are so grateful for your amazing work.
We feel that we owe you a great deal of thanks. For someone slipping away from us and much less able to talk to her life's experience, your film is valuable beyond description.
Document the outcomes of your project to share with your community, partners and funders. Participant interviews, location footage, text and photos included. Post-production includes final film on a USB and uploaded on YouTube to be embedded on your website and shared through your social media.
Contact Chris to discuss your project. Let’s be in touch.
